Who we are
Changing Journeys Care & Support Ltd is a London-based supported living provider focused on adults aged 18 and over who are living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities or autism. Our purpose runs deeper than housing — we offer stability, meaning, real human connection and a credible route towards independent living.
Founded and led by a management team with over 30 years of combined experience across NHS mental health services, learning disability support, autism services, supported living, special needs education and social care, we bring practical, real-world expertise to every placement we run. We understand mental health, learning disability and autism through decades of frontline work — not from a textbook.
As a non-CQC regulated provider, we deliberately operate outside the scope of personal care and nursing care. Our focus is the social, emotional and practical scaffolding that helps adults grow in confidence, develop skills and reconnect with the people and places around them. The support is structured, consistent and always co-produced — with the service user firmly at the centre.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with NHS Trusts, Community Mental Health Teams, Learning Disability Teams, local authority commissioners, housing associations and third sector partners across London — so each service user benefits from a connected web of support that no single organisation could offer alone.

Our values
Community Connection
Loneliness and isolation hold recovery back. We work hard to plug service users into London’s social, cultural and civic life neighbourhoods, groups, hobbies and friendships.
Dignity & Respect
Each person we support is an individual first. Their voice, their choices and their lived experience drive every decision we take with them.
Community Focused Care
Building stronger community connections through inclusive daily support
Empowerment
We invest in real confidence and practical capability building towards long term independence, not long term reliance on a service.
Holistic Understanding
We see the whole person never reduced to a diagnosis. Emotional, practical, social and sensory needs are addressed together, not in silos.
Partnership & Collaboration
We work with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and housing partners as true collaborators coordinated, person centred support depends on it.
About our regulatory status
Our supported living service is not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). ”What that means in practice” we provide social, emotional and practical support to help adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities or autism live independently in the community — but we do not deliver personal care or nursing care, both of which fall under CQC regulation.
Our staff are trained, DBS-checked and held to best-practice standards. Where personal or clinical care is needed, we work in partnership with regulated providers and NHS services to make sure each person’s full needs are met.
